Comox Valley Chamber AGM coming to Crown Isle

April 13, 2016

COMOX VALLEY – March was a whirlwind month at the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce as we celebrated with a number of different events. Chamber staff and our Board of Directors welcomed members to our office on March 3 for an open house where we discussed our current strategic plan and our priorities for the year answering questions about the Chamber’s role in the community. As a result, we had several new members join – a warm welcome to them! On March 15th, a Member mixer was hosted by RP Copywriting.

We always enjoy meeting with so many of our members. It comes as no surprise that, in this day and age of electronic communications, people still make the best connections face to face.

We appreciate each and every one of our members as they help our Chamber of Commerce to fulfil our Vision, which is Community & Business Leadership thought Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability.

March 31 we held our Chamber Board Elections Lunch and we are pleased to welcome the following people to our Board of Directors for two year terms:

Tricia St. Pierre of Local’s Restaurant and Linda Thomas of 97.3 The Eagle.

Thank you to our new Board Members for your strong show of support of the Chamber of Commerce.

Membership Matters:

What’s in it for my business?

The Chamber of Commerce relies on the support of the business community because all businesses – large or small – facilitate us to promote economic growth and vitality here in the Comox Valley.

By becoming a Chamber member you can engage in local and regional advocacy, have a say in decisions that affect your business, network with members who range from solopreneurs to large corporations and organizations, and be a part of a stellar group of business owners and members who lead by great example.
