Showcasing Lake Country Wineries

LAKE COUNTRY – Spring is in the air!  With the warmer weather and blue sky days increasing more and more visitors are enjoying Lake Country.  The Kangaroo Creek farm and the Oyama Zipline Adventurer Park are now open for the season offering fun for the whole family!

The wineries are also open for exquisite wine tastings, with some wineries offering brunch, lunch and dinner options. Indulge yourself and visit Lake Country’s eight SCENIC SIP wineries for an unforgettable food & wine experience. “Taste Lake Country” showcases the diverse wines of the region paired with culinary bites at each winery.

Choose either Saturday or Sunday to attend this very popular annual Lake Country event. Saturday April 21 or Sunday April 22, 2018, 11am – 5pm ~~ $35+GST per day*.BONUS: Ticket holders have the chance to enter our TLC draw to win a mixed case of wine valued at $350.

Thank you to one of our newest member, Cosmetic Culture Sport and Spa for hosting the March Business After Hours event!  With a packed house of over 60 guests, owners Brett and Holly Barker along with co-owners Colleen and Ryan Nolin were excited to open their doors to members and guests of the Lake Country Chamber of Commerce.

Located in the new Turtle Bay Crossing Mall just off Hwy 97 and Oceola Road, Cosmetic Culture Sport and Spa is the first of it’s kind in Lake Country!  Members and guests were quick to get in line during the evening to experience on site Vitamin B12/B complex shots, and a Frotox Quicky for those wanting a nice facial glow.

Other guest toured the infrared saunas and IV lounge set up for vitamin infusion therapies, while overlooking beautiful Wood Lake. Thank you to Aspen Grove Golf, Dragonfly Studio and Cosmetic Culture Sport and Spa for their generous door prizes! 

Our April Business After Hours event will be held at Ex Nihilo Vineyards at 1525 Camp Road, Lake Country on April 26, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. This event will be co-hosted by Ex Nihilo Vineyards and Telus PureFibre

The Lake Country Chamber of Commerce welcomed nine new members in March!  Compass Cannibas, Integrated Talent Solutions, Custom Cleaning Solutions, The Field Room, Cosmetic Culture, Baine Rhymer-Associate Member, Lake Country Alliance Church, Squeaky Cheese and 50th Parallel Estate Winery.
